Greetings! My name is Caner Karaoğlu

I am an AI Engineer and M.Sc. Informatics graduate from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with a strong background in machine learning, generative AI, and software development. I previously completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Ankara University, where I built a solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles.

My recent work has focused on synthetic medical image generation, multimodal AI, diffusion models, and applied machine learning systems. During my time as a Machine Learning Engineer at MEDTANK in Munich, I contributed to projects involving medical imaging, generative models, and production-oriented AI workflows. My master's thesis, titled "Enhancing Unimodal Medical Synthetic Image Generation Using Text-to-Image Models", explored how domain-specific language representations can improve the quality and clinical relevance of synthetic chest X-ray generation.

I work mainly with Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, diffusion pipelines, and modern AI tooling, while also having experience in backend development, frontend development, and cloud-based ML workflows. Beyond engineering, I am also a vocal and guitar player, and I enjoy combining creativity with technology in both my professional and personal life.
